He was predeceased by: his parents, John Karski and Katherine Karski (Mazur); his wife Anne Michalke Karski of Cecilia's Church; his son-in-law Richard Siuda; his brother Edward Karski; and his brothers-in-law, Edward Locke and Larry Coon.
He is survived by: his children, John "Joe" Karski (Kathryn), Stephen A. Karski (Mary Jo), Timothy M. Karski (Joan Leonard), Christopher P. Karski (Celeste), Michael S. Karski (Brenda) and Kathleen "Katie" Siuda; his brothers, Richard "Dick" Karski (Judy) and Thomas Karski (Marilyn); his sisters-in-law, Patricia Karski, Mary Claire Locke, Margaret "Anor" Coon and Antoinette "Toni" (Joseph); and his close friends, Paul Kingsley and Johnny Bellinger. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church (224 Franklin St, Elmira, NY 14904). A Mass was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery (623 Franklin St, Elmira, NY 14904).
