Veronica M. Gursky Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 25, 2025, at the age of 96, Veronica M. Gursky (Elmira, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Fitzgerald and Mildred Fitzgerald (McClure); her husband Stephen W. Gursky; her son Robert Gursky; her grandson Galen Cope; her great grandchild Fennic Weiss; and her siblings, Richard Fitzgerald, Mary Connell and Jack Fitzgerald.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Gursky (Suzanne) of Pine City, NY, Karen VanKeuren (Michael) of Upton, MA and Debra Cope (Thomas) of Brentwood, TN; her daughter-in-law Teri Gursky of Wellsburg, NY; her grandchildren, Rhianna Weiss (Ben), Seth Cope, Maple Pallotta (Randy) and Rebecca Phillips (John); and her great grandchildren, Landon Cope, Winter Weiss, Lorenzo Pallotta and Belle Phillips. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Olthof Funeral Home (1050 Pennsylvania Ave, Elmira, NY 14904). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
