She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred Augusts and Julia Belle Swartout (Briggs); and her daughter Carin J. McBride. She is survived by: her children, Randy Swartout (Ann Marie) of Portland, OR, Dorie Mayo (Rick Slicklen) and Kent Deering.
