He is survived by : his wife Bertha M. Swanson Simmons; his children, Thomas Simmons of Kennedy, Terry Simmons (Tamela) of Sugar Grove, PA and Lisa Carlson (Martin) of Gerry; his son-in-law Robert Walters of Randolph; and his siblings, Audrey Wynn (Butch) of Buzzard Bay, MA, Shirley Hitchcock of Busti and Alvin Simmons (Barbara) of Falconer. He is also survived by six grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
