With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rosemarie B. Peterson of Falconer, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 21, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles LoPresto and Lena Calabrese LoPresto; her husband John B. Peterson; her daughter Susan Melquist; and her siblings, Charles LoPresto, Antoinette Paterniti and AngElla Riolo.
She is survived by: her children, Philip Peterson of Falconer, Mark Peterson of Falconer and Leda Peterson of Jamestown; her grandchildren, Christopher Peterson of Reno, NV, Lewis Peterson of Falconer, Jenene Melquist of Bowling Green, OH and John Melquist of Bowling Green, OH; and her great grandchild Gabriel Placke of Bowling Green, OH..
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Falconer Funeral Home, Inc. (44 W Falconer St, Falconer, NY 14733). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be donated to the Chautauqua County Humane Society, 2825 Strunk Rd., Jamestown, NY 14701.
