He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred G. Avery and Helen M. Bruce Avery; and his brother David Avery. He is survived by: his brothers, Bruce Avery (Rosemary) of Rochester, NY and John Avery (Amy Westfall) of Waterloo, NY; and his close friend Kay Baker of Lyons, NY.. He is also survived by one niece and four nephews.
