It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Giovanna Palazzolo of Flushing, New York, who passed away on January 29, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Salvatore Leone and Marianna Leone; her siblings, Agata Lafata and Saverio Leone; and her husband Michele Palazzolo.
She is survived by: her children, Concetta Palazzolo (Gaetano), Marianna Agrusa (Antonino), Nora Russo (Salvatore), Josephine Palazzolo and Joe Palazzolo; her grandchildren, Nicoletta (Domenico), Giovanna (Gianfranco), Agatha (Giuseppe), Gaetano (Francesca), Frank (Maria), Salvatore (Angelina), Michael (Angela), Angela (Charles) and Joanna (Gaetano); and her great grandchildren, Paolo, Elisa, Pietro, Luca, Alice, Anthony, Michael, Francesca, Salvatore, Giulia, Valentina, Aria, Matteo, Giovanni, Abbi and Eleonora. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
