She is survived by: her brother Wilfred Velazquez; her children, Yolanda Santiago, Alicia DeCurtis and Luis Varela; her sister-in-law Fela Almodovar; and also Lydia Almodovar. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
