He was predeceased by : his parents, George Nokes and Mary Nokes (Securo); his brother George Nokes (Nina); his nephew Stephen Carruthers; his great-niece Courtney Bouton; and his brothers-in-law, Jack Naylor and Bill Gilligan.
He is survived by : his wife Barbara Whalen (Duran); his son Kent Whalen; his grandchildren, Zachary, Sarah and Kayleigh; his daughter Julie Fillings; his grandchild Kendall (Ashley); his son Shawn Whalen (Kathy); his grandsons, Shane (McKenna) and Erik; his son Danny Nokes (Sarah); his grandchildren, Isaac and Marley; his great grandchildren, Kash, Jaylen and Seamus; his sister Dolores Carruthers (Robert); and his sisters-in-law, Sandra Naylor and Mary Gilligan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
Masks and social distancing are required, with a maximum occupancy of 73 people at one time.
