Joan Marie (Kilmer) Huggins Obituary
We bid farewell to Joan Marie (Kilmer) Huggins of Fort Edward, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 25, 2025 at the age of 92. Joan Marie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Bristol Kilmer of Argyle, NY. and Hazel Kilmer (Cornell); her stepmother Lois Kilmer; and her sister Corrine Kilmer (John Huggins). She is survived by: her brothers, George Kilmer (Patricia) and Keith Kilmer (Janet); her son Michael Huggins (Barbara); her grandchildren, Jennie (Joseph Buckohr) and Ellyn Huggins (Kurt Kraal); her daughter Sarah Huggins; her grandchildren, John, Stephen and Grace Huggins; and also Marian Huggins. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the M. B. Kilmer Funeral Home- Argyle (123 Main St, Argyle, NY 12809). A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Argyle Presbyterian Church (48 Main St, Argyle, NY 12809).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joan's honor at the J.A. Barkley Hose Company, the Argyle Emergency Squad, or the Argyle Free Library.
