It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Valerie Alison Ungerer (Fort Edward, New York), who passed away on September 28, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Evelyn M. Kinney (Birk) and Harold W. Kinney; her husband Richard Ungerer; her brother-in-law Walter Ungerer; and her siblings, John, Carl Kinney and Gladys Carnahan.
She is survived by: her daughter Dorothy Ungerer (Steven Goluchowski) of Moreau, NY; her grandsons, Alexander Hripak (Nicholas Salerno) of Washington, D. C. and Aaron Ungerer of Moreau, NY.; and her siblings, Harold W. Kinney, Jr. (Madeline) of Valley Stream, NY and Edith Ungerer McKenna Caristo (Robert) of Putnam Valley, NY.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
