She was predeceased by: her parents, George Mickle and Melba Mickle (Davis); her children, Butch and Laurie; her siblings, Kay Lyvonne (Kitten), James, John and Mary Margo Mickle; her son Ronald; her stepson Kenneth Mapes; her grandchildren, Stacey and Scott Jr.; and her stepchildren, Ernest Jackson (Kathy), L. Reneé Craig (Brad), L. Roger Jackson (Jen), Robin Sanders (Matt), Scott Jackson (Linda), Roxanne Mosher (Reggie), Debra Burton (Dave), Laura McClory (Thomas) and Alexis Mapes (André Floyd).
She is survived by: her former husband Ernest "Jack" Jackson; her husband Paul Mapes; and her stepson Rex. She is also survived by nephews, 22 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Philomena's Roman Catholic Church (26 Plymouth Ave, Franklinville, NY 14737). A reception will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Babbitt & Easton Funeral Home (7 N Main St, Franklinville, NY 14737).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Historical Society, Blount Library or Hospice and Homecare.
