He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jopek and Rose Pinkoski Jopek; his daughter Nancy Jopek; and his siblings, Leonard Jopek and Dorothy Ostrowski.

He is survived by: his children, Cynthia M. Lang (Stanley) of Marietta, OH, Michael P. Jopek of Hanover, PA, Roger A. Jopek (Nancy) of Westfield, NY and Julie A. Wagle (Jim) of Chanhassen, MN; his grandchildren, Ruth Jellison (Marty), Elizabeth Lang, Timothy Lang (Sarah), Bradley Jopek (Jessica), Markus Jopek and Abigail Bender (Michael); and his great grandchildren, Caleb Lang, Joseph and Rose Lang.
