It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy Jean Abercrombie of Freeport, New York, born in Brent, Alabama, who passed away on October 24, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Katie Mae and Eli Abercrombie; and her daughter Winnie. She is survived by : her children, Wenona (Winnie), Dorlisa and Anthony; her grandchildren, Tia, Adina, Joshua, Jason, Jaydin, Elijah, Trishjen and Nadia; her great grandchildren, Sebastian, Isadora and Nehemiah; and her siblings, Augusta, Essie Ray, Ginny, Mary and Clifton. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
