He was predeceased by : his parent Richard Fonda; and his sons, Winfield R. Fonda Jr. and Timothy R. Fonda Mr. He is survived by : his parent Lottie Fonda (Peeler); his daughters, Leslie K. Smith of Jacksonville Florida and Rose Marie F. Fralick (Steve) of Jacksonville Florida; and his niece Roberta Fox (Stanley).
