She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Thomas Skandera and Anna Skandera (Yurik); her children, Jesse Carpenter of Tempe, AZ, Fred Carpenter of Schenectady, NY and Diane (Andy); her granddaughter Terri Dyer (Scott) of Gansevoort, NY.; her husband Donald Duane Carpenter of Fonda; her siblings, Thomas Skandera and Suzanne Carpenter; her daughter Anne; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Paszkiewicz (Rich) of Scotia, Desiree Krizan (Jeremy) of Tribes Hill, Danielle (Ian Hamelin), Schaghticoke and Jonathan Carpenter (Annie Laier) of Sharon Springs. She was also cherished by seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
