He was predeceased by: his parents, Emogene and Lewis Steele, Sr. of Porters Corners, NY; his wife Betty Ruth Arnold; and his siblings, Dick, Lewis and Hazel.
He is survived by: his daughter Cynthia Mirra (Joseph); and his siblings, Katie Pfeiffer, Jean Erwin, Virgil and Bill. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
