He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Melvina Mattison and William Mattison; his siblings, Luke, Malcolm, William, Louis Edward, Alfred Manell, Anna Mae, Jeanine, Kay and Marian; his former wife Edna; his wife Joyce Mattison; his children, Ellis Mattison Jr. (Amanda), Malisa Ochotnicky (Jason), Ginny Regner (David), Kimberly Branam (Stewart) and Wendy McGinness (Rob); his sister Marilyn Phillips; Donna Mattison. He was also cherished by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
