She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Ovitt and Elaine Ovitt (Allen); and her brother Randy Allen. She is survived by: her sons, Jes Cook (Sonya), Jason Cook (Jessica) and Gary Cook (Kendra); her grandchildren, Mya, Ava, Taylor, Carla and Emma; her close friend Herb Anderson, III; her siblings, Martin Allen, Oscar Ovitt, II and Robin Blackmon; Angie Ovitt. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
