It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter E. Dayter Sr. (Gansevoort, New York), who passed away on April 8, 2018, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Peter B. Dayter. He is survived by: his parent Elizabeth Downes; his children, Deborah Dayter (Pete Sweet), Pete Dayter (Sarina), Russell Dayter (Virginia), Delilah Hulsopple (Kenneth) and Peter Dayter Jr (Lea); his stepchildren, Gene Vanalen (Aleisha), Matthew Vanalen, Robert Rothaupt and Lee Rothaupt (Debbie); and his siblings, Roger Dayter, Gary Dayter (Ruth), Donnie Dayter, Debbie Lepp (Turk) and Joy Williams (Larry). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
