He was predeceased by: his parents, Laverne Cummings and Edna Frisch Cummings; and his former wife Sharon Cummings. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Chaffee Cummings; his children, Douglas Cummings (Monica), Steven Cummings (Patricia) and Laura Cummings; his siblings, Larry Cummings (Linda), Clifford Cummings (Marilyn), Jack Cummings (Roberta), Gloria Cummings and Claudia Hurne (Timothy); his grandchildren, Morgan, Leah and Brandon; and his great grandchild Grayson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the J. Leonard McAndrew Funeral Home (32 John St, Akron, NY 14001). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at the Pioneer Cemetery.
