She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Elida Criswell and Brewer; her sons, Jerry VanBuren and Daryl Hoste; her husband Walter; her children, Karen Gibb (Don), Sheila Bruckner, Denise Dubois, Beverly Smith (Dan), Verne VanBuren and Sharlyn Kennedy; and her brother Marshall Criswell (Rose). She was also cherished by 15 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins.
