It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Constance Estelle Simon of Glen Cove, New York, who passed away on July 22, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Idol and Josephine Idol; her son Timothy Patrick Simon; and her sister Helen Idol Simon. She is survived by: her son Jim Simon (Gail Tingley Simon) of Southport, NC; her granddaughters, Erin Simon (Jeremy Pippenger) of Brooklyn, NY and Colleen Shelley (Ryan) of Raleigh, NC; and her great grandchild River Shelley. She is also survived by her son, parents and many relatives.
This is a group of real heroes in this time of COVID - 19, who provided love and care for a Connie in here later years. Services will be private and internment will be at Nassau Knolls Cemetery, Port Washington, NY close to her son, parents and many relatives.
