He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Virginia Mary; his children, Maureen Angliss (Kevin), Greg Schaefer (Gloria), Barbara Schaefer (Mitchell Geller), Susan DiLoreto (Andrew), John Schaefer (Tracy) and Michael Schaefer (Nancy); and his siblings, Cathleen Chapey, Marie O'Connor, Laurence Schaefer and Richard Schaefer.
