He was predeceased by: his parent Bertran Johnston. He is survived by: his wife Maxine Kohler; his sister Leslie Johnston of Boston; his stepgrandchildren, Sovereign Lyman and Christian Withey; his parent Gertrude Cady Johnston; and also Kurt. He is also survived by nine step great-grandchildren; many cousins.
