She was predeceased by : her father John L. LaValley; her brother Edward Peter Merlow Jr.; her grandparents, Peter J. Burlett Jr. and Margaret E. Baker (Duclos); and her aunts and uncles, Joan C. McGarr, Linda Tougaw, William J. Burlett, Perley LaValley and Louis LaValley.
She is survived by : her mother Linda D. Merlow (Burlett) of Clearwater, FL; her foster son Isaiah Douglass of Glens Falls; her significant other Mark A. Humphreys of Fort Edward; her friend John Culver of Hardwick, MA; her siblings, Jill R. Simpson (Larry) of Glens Falls and Jason S. Merlow of Diamond Point; her aunts, Rose LaValley of Kingsbury and Jane Barber (Burt) of Queensbury; her nieces, Elizabeth M. Simpson and Mariah L. Simpson of Glens Falls; and her pet Georgia. She is also survived by several great-nieces and great-nephews, several loving step-children and step-grandchildren.
