He is survived by: his parents, John Nichols and Pearl Nichols (Hammond); his daughter Nancy Bemis; his grandchildren, Aubrey Bemis-Winch (Cody), Elle Bemis (Constance) and Anna Bemis; and his nephew Bob Reynolds (Michelle).
