He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Skellie, Sr. and Donna Skellie (Way); his stepfather Tom Grover; and his siblings, Ed Skellie, Jr. and Connie Hafner.
He is survived by: his close friend Meredith Schultz; his children, Preston Skellie (Diamond Burt), Derek Skellie and Clairrissa Skellie (Adam Foster); the parents of children, Beth Galton (Lee) and Brian Winchell (Heather); his grandchildren, Zaiden Skellie, James and Jackson Desousa; his brother Michael Skellie (Christine); his siblings-in-law, Steven Hafner and Melinda Skellie; his niece Lisa McIntosh; his great-nephew Jon Waters (Sarah); and also, Ken Mallory (Jenna), Gabrielle Skellie (Dante) and Lacy Skellie.
