Alice P. Scanlan Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice P. Scanlan of Goshen, New York, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on August 11, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph McGowan and Alice McGowan (Sherlock); her husband John L. Scanlan; her daughter Pat Champion; her daughter-in-law Ana Scanlan; and her siblings, Michael McGowan and Jane Quinn.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Santoro (William), Virginia Degnan (John), Eileen Mealia (Raymond), John Scanlan and Elizabeth Smith (Robert); her son-in-law Robert Champion; and her siblings, Josephine Myers, James McGowan and Joseph McGowan (Elizabeth). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, three great, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
