He was predeceased by: his parent Owen Oliver Carroll; and his siblings, George Carroll, Joseph Royal, Hubert Carroll, Rufus Carroll, Luther Carroll, Rosa Faison, Benny Carroll, Ruby Williams Jerry Carroll and Oliver Carroll.
He is survived by: his parent Nancy Carroll (Royal); his spouse Juanita Carroll (Ware); his children, Ann Ware, Eddie Johnson, Michael Blue, Marcell Blue, Evarn Nix (Eddie) and Audretta Blue; and his siblings, Annie Ruth Smith (Joseph), Larry Carroll and Edna William. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
