We are sad to announce that on December 31, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Brenda L. Saidel of Gouverneur, New York, born in Ogdensburg, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Raymond Smith and Marjorie I. Smith (Elliott); her brothers, Raymond, James and Jeffrey Smith; and her grandson Nicholas Whiteford.
She is survived by: her husband H. Michael Saidel; her children, Marta Whiteford (Frank Lee), Melissa Fone (Randy), Douglas Whiteford, Jr. (Mary Kay) and Anthony Saidel (Jeanne); her siblings, Rosemary Smith, Cindy Scutt, Penny Stalker, Ronald Smith, Kevin Smith, Brian Smith and Tracy Smith; her aunts, Rita Chambers, Vivian Day and Ilona Elliott; and her uncle Butch Smith. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at French Funeral Home in Gouverneur on Monday, January 4, 2021 from 4:00 – 7:00 p. m. Please wear a mask and practice social distancing.
