With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cecil T. Steele of Gouverneur, New York, who passed away on June 20, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry C. Steele and Nannie Steele (Liscum); and his sister Elizabeth "Betty" Whitbeck. He is survived by: his wife Lois Steele; and his children, Christopher, Liz Steele, Ellen Steele and Peggy Steele. He is also survived by Nan and Denis LaParr, 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Donations in memory of Cecil may be made to the Spragueville United Methodist Church, PO Box 31, Antwerp NY 13608.
