We are sad to announce that on October 1, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Theresa Ann Desormeaux of Gouverneur, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Lionel Constance; and her siblings, Nan Macelli, Beth Reff, Sarah Doctuer, Bill, Jim and John Constance.
She is survived by: her mother Anna Constance (Connie); her significant other Albert R. Desormeaux of Antwerp; and her children, Deborah Bates (Michael), Diane, Daniel Desormeaux, Donna LaRock (Michael), Denise Youngs (William) of Pen Yan, Mary Chmielewski (Douglas) of Rome and Michelle Desormeaux. She is also survived by 14 Grandchildren and 22 Great Grandchildren and many Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Frary Funeral Homes and Cremation Services - Gouverneur (33 Park St, Gouverneur, NY 13642). A Mass will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. James Church (164 E Main St, Gouverneur, NY 13642). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 11:50 AM to 12:15 PM at the Old St. James Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contribution in Theresa's memory, may be made to the Northern New York Community Foundation, St James Church or St James Parochial School.
