He was predeceased by: his sister Dorothy Chase. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Stephen Howald, Susan Balisteri (William), Jane and John Howald (Sabrina); his siblings, Geraldine Dominski and Phillip Howald; and his grandchildren, Phillip, Andrea, Kelly, Will, Nick and Savannah. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
