With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maria J. Puglisi (Gowanda, New York), born in Niagara Falls, New York, who passed away on May 21, 2020 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Schiavone and Joseph Schiavone; her husband Anthony Michael Puglisi; and her sister Joanne Schiavone. She is survived by: her children, Vernon Puglisi, Anthony Puglisi (Rena), Steven Puglisi (Kristin) and Mikell Puglisi; her grandchildren, Max Puglisi, Dakota Spinner, Grace Puglisi, Francesca Puglisi, Dena Puglisi, Anthony Puglisi, Sebastian Puglisi and Mike Puglisi; her sister Angela Sdao (late Eugene Sdao); her niece Carla Sdao; and her brother Joseph Schiavone (Karen). She is also survived by nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grand nephews.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic social restrictions, funeral services will be held privately for Maria's immediate family with interment to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to the Lupus Foundation.
