With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Westhafer of Grand Island, New York, born in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on February 11, 2021 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dorothy Westhafer to pay them a last tribute.
She is survived by: her husband James Westhafer; and her children, William of Malvern, Elizabeth O'Brien of Santa Fe, N. M., Jean Westmoore of Grand Island and Gail Webb of Cincinnati, Ohio. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Due to the pandemic, funeral services will be private with a memorial remembrance planned at the Kenan Center in late summer or fall.
Memorial donations may be made to Riverside Presbyterian Church in Niagara Falls, the Kenan Center in Lockport or WNY Land Conservancy.
