He was predeceased by: his spouse Marion M. Kostecki; his parents, John Kostecki and Gertrude Kostecki; and his brother Edward Kostecki. He is survived by: his children, Lynn Kostecki-Csanyi (Michael), John W. Jr. Kostecki (Susan), Susan Griffin (John), Karen McMahon (Timothy) and Pamela Clough (Edward); his grandchildren, Alexandra, Ryan, John, Rachel, Jack, Mallory, Dillon, Connor, Nolan and Liam; and his brothers, James Kostecki (late Ann) and Theodore Kostecki.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Roberts Funeral Home (1671 Maple Rd, Williamsville, NY 14221). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Gregory the Great Church (200 St Gregory Ct, Buffalo, NY 14221).
