Sharon M. Szafran Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon M. Szafran of Grand Island, New York, who passed away on July 14, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elton Eschborn and Hilda Eschborn; and her sister Audrey Kotlarski (late Matthew). She is survived by: her husband Richard E. Szafran; her daughter Julie Schuler (Kevin); her grandchildren, Allison and Hayden Schuler; her siblings, Carol Stanley and Clyde Eschborn (Wendy); and her pets, Cooper and Archie. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Amherst Chapel (5200 Sheridan Dr, Amherst, NY 14221). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Stephen Church (2100 Baseline Rd, Grand Island, NY 14072). An entombment will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery (4000 Elmwood Ave, Buffalo, NY 14217).
