He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Martindale (Baker) and Roy Martindale; his wife Ruth; his son David; and his siblings, Charles (Honey), William (Bill), Frank, Howard (Robin), John (Johnny), Betty Vance (Mer) and Edna Kelly.
He is survived by: his children, Gerald, Donald (Frances), Raymond (Michelle), Judy Groesback, Linda Wade (Phil), Mary Ann Marchaland (Andrew), Sherrie Sizemore, Charlene Martindale (Jeff) and Laurie Mattison (Ben). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
