It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pearl Lulu Whitney of Granville, New York, who passed away on April 5, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Pearl Lulu Whitney to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, George VanGuilder and Lulu VanGuilder (Cooper); her sons, Ron and Earl; and her husband Art.

She is survived by : her children, Joy Lemke (Paul), Jan "Sweetie" Whitney (Pat "Wack" Nolan), Deborah VanVranken (Tim Smyth), Dennis Whitney (Carrie) and Peter Whitney (Sue); and her grandchildren, Kim Stannard, Joe Matteson, Jill Rafferty, Jami Whitney, Chad Whitney, Jeremiah Whitney, Christopher Whitney, Damon "Josh" Straw, Michael Willis, Michael Whitney, Nicholas Whitney, Danielle Allen and Jennifer Whitney.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Robert M King Funeral Home (23 Church St, Granville, NY 12832). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
