He is survived by: his wife Sally Ann Erwin; his children, Robin Steele (Peggy) of Great Bend, NY and Terry Smith (Dean) of Colonial Heights, Virginia; his close friend JoEllen "Jody" Hall; his brother Marvin Steele (Nancy) of Fort Myers, Florida; and his grandchildren, Allie Steele, Travis and Zack Smith.
