She was predeceased by: her parents, Alma Klapper and Herbert Klapper; her husband Jack; her son Barry; her brother Marvin Klapper; and her close friend Simon Solovey.
She is survived by: her stepmother Hannah; her son Alan (Lois); her niece Sherry Klapper; her grandchildren, Shawn (Jorge), Lindsay (Tate), Carey, Emilio and Ian; and her great grandchildren, Marina, Milo, Martin, Nikkilyn, Liam and Hannah.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM and from 2:45 PM to 3:15 PM. She worked for most of her life until her retirement, then volunteered at LIJ Hospital for over 25 years until the pandemic.
