It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald E. Root of Greece, New York, born in Rochester, New York, who passed away on February 1, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Theresa Root; his great great grandchild Leilani Quinn Ramsey; his children, Douglas Root (Cheryl), Jeffrey Root (Donna), Gail Cox (Richard) and Carol Richardson (Mark Barbosa); his parents, Leon George Root and Elsie Carolina Tesch; and his siblings, Harold Gordon Root, Richard Leon Root, Leon Paul Root, Laura Eleanor Root Labarr and Betty Edwina Root Lee. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, cousins & dear friends.
