He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley; his sons, Robert and David; and his daughter-in-law Jean Chase Pellman. He is survived by: his children, Joseph (Sue Crombach), Mark (Nancy), Tom (Kathy Mackay), Jim (Trudy), Stephen (Laurie), Anne Turberg (Steve) and Tim (Ann); his daughter-in-law Lisa; and his close friend Dorothy Schell. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
