He was predeceased by : his parents, Bruce Evans and Marjorie Evans; and his brother Hilton Evans. He is survived by : his wife Esther; his children, Moyra, Lance Ulery of Brevard, Sheryl Evans of Smithville, Heather, Michael Frederick of Seneca Falls, Colin and Michelle Evans of Greene; his grandchildren, Sean, Amy Evans, Kristen, Matthew Wiediger, Christopher and Karen Walsh; his child Ryan Walsh; his grandsons, Evan and Spencer Frederick; his children, Kegan and Kiefer Evans; his great grandchildren, Nicole, Logan and Jacob Wiediger; his sisters, Cyrena Summers and Alice Evans; and his sister-in-law Sarah Evans. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Chenango County Hospice, the First Congregational Church United Church of Christ, and the Greene Emergency Squad.
