He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael R. Loeffler and Josepha Alataria Geitz; and his grandson Hubert Loeffler III. He is survived by: his wife Marlene Washburn Loeffler of Greenfield Center, N. Y.; his children, Hubert Loeffler Jr. of Greenfield Center, N. Y. and Melia Loeffler Malachowski (John) of Stewartstown, P. A.; his grandsons, John M. Malachowski (Sarah) of York, P. A. and Jeremiah M. Loeffler of Saratoga Springs, N. Y.; his great grandchildren, John David Malachowski and Elaina Malachowski of York, P. A.; and his sister Caroline M. Patterson of Saratoga Springs, N. Y.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (149 Lake Ave, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
