He was predeceased by : his parents, Sheldon A. Palmer and Allie E. Palmer; his siblings, Dale Palmer and Darlene Stickle; and his nephew Scott Zibura.
He is survived by : his children, Jennifer Abate (Vincenzo) and Douglas Palmer, Jr. (Easter); his former life partner Geraldine Carey; his grandchildren, Izabella "Bella" and Vito Abate; his nephew Frank Zibura (Denise, family: Bryan Zibura); his niece Lisa Koehler (Todd); and his siblings-in-law, Danny Carey and Noreen Carey.
