He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Dunbar and Doris Irene Hammond; his wife Catherine; and his son Joseph J. Dunbar III. He is survived by: his children, Lisa, Kyle and Alexander Dunbar (Alexandra); his brother Frank; his sister-in-law Mary Kay Sager; and his close friend Anita Permanand. He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
