With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Henry A. Szlachetka of Hamburg, New York, who passed away on September 26, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Henry farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Henry is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Casimer Szlachetka and Lucia Szlachetka. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Szlachetka; his sons, Mark (Lynn), Michael (Julie) and Matthew Szlachetka (Stacy); and his grandchildren, Kendal, Kara, Madelyn, Ruby and Ivy Szlachetka. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the John J. Kaczor Funeral Home, Inc. - Blasdell (3450 South Park Ave, Buffalo, NY 14219).
