She was predeceased by: her husband James E. Koester; her stepsons, Joseph and Scott Koester (Kim); and her parents, Frank Kaminski and Genevieve Kaminski.
She is survived by: her children, Shawn Wright (Coleen) and Kim Cassidy (late Shawn); her grandchildren, Evan (Leah), Addison, Megan, Drew, Molly, Chelsea (Levi), Hollie and Joshua (Christine); her great grandchild Liam; and her siblings, Pat Gunning (late Tom) and Daniel Kaminski (Michaelle). She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the John J Kaczor Funeral Home, Inc. (5453 Southwestern Blvd, Hamburg, NY 14075). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Churchill United Methodist Church (8019 Boston State Rd, Hamburg, NY 14075).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation or the Hospice Foundation of WNY.
